The Forerunners Education Terms and Conditions
We want to ensure that your child receives the best of services from us, and have therefore crafted a set of rules that define our expectations and conditions. These conditions will be the foundation for a three way agreement between the parent, child, and our homeschool.
Please read the Terms and Conditions outlined below carefully as they are a legally binding agreement for the provision of educational services to the students.

These Terms and Conditions, which we have sought to keep as simple and clear as possible, clearly outline the guidelines, expectations, and responsibilities governing the relationship between The Forerunners Education, referred to as "the Homeschool," and all students and parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in our institution. By enrolling in The Forerunners Education, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Mutual commitment
These Terms and Conditions establish a mutual commitment between The Forerunners Education, its staff, students, and parents or guardians. We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative partnership that ensures the holistic development of each student within the context of Islamic teachings.
Scope of our Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions encompass various aspects of the homeschool experience, including but not limited to enrolment procedures, tuition and fee structure, curriculum guidelines, behaviour expectations, communication protocols, health and safety provisions, and dispute resolution mechanisms. It is important for all enrolled students and their parents or guardians to familiarise themselves with these provisions to ensure a harmonious and productive educational journey.
Modifications and updates
The Forerunners Education reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to enrolled students and parents or guardians in a timely manner, providing adequate notice to accommodate adjustments where needed.
By enrolling in The Forerunners Education, you demonstrate your commitment to upholding the values, principles, and expectations set forth in these Terms and Conditions. We look forward to embarking on a collaborative educational journey that nurtures excellence, piety, and personal growth, all in respect of our shared values.
Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully. Upon enrolment at our homeschool, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our administrative office.
Duration
The Terms and Conditions stated in this agreement will be in effect from your child's enrolment at our school until the completion of Year 11, along with the settlement of all applicable fees and charges.
Should your child choose to progress to Year 12 or 13, this agreement will extend until the conclusion of Year 13, subject to the fulfilment of all fees as outlined below.
Section 1
1. Fees
The Forerunners Education website contains all the fees and other payable expenses. It also outlines when they should be paid and for what purpose.
We are striving to make sure that our homeschool remains as affordable as possible, and therefore ensure that the fees payable each academic year remain stable. However, the fees may sometimes increase as students progress on to the upper years.
Fee increases will always be communicated to parents, with at least 30 days' notice before the increase takes effect to prepare you for the changes and prevent any inconveniences.
All the fees and expenses must be paid online via Stripe or direct debit, directly into the homeschool account. You will be invoiced by the school’s main office to arrange the payments.
When a student at any stage decides to discontinue tuition, they are not entitled to any refunds paid for the additional subjects.
Failure to pay fees on time may result in the risk of exclusion and inability to attend classes and other school activities until the entire amount, or an agreed-upon payment plan, is provided. Parents are expected to pay the full fee amount, costs and charges, including legal fees, and any additional expenses because of failure to deliver on time or to pay at all.

2. Notice period
Parents may withdraw their child from our homeschool at any time by providing a minimum notice of one half term (six weeks) via email to admissions@theforerunnerseducation.com. Consultation with our team prior to withdrawal is recommended to avoid missed opportunities. Once notice is given, it can be retracted only once, after which the decision is final. If the student wishes to re-enrol, they must follow the application process.
If a parent or guardian opts to withdraw a student from our school before the conclusion of an academic year, a leaver’s fee of £500 will be applicable. However, payment of the full academic year's fee exempts the student from the leaver's fee. Notice to withdraw must be provided by the last day of the Summer Term.
The purpose of the leaver’s fee is to account for anticipated losses and facilitate a stable environment with sufficient human resources and effective planning.
To eliminate uncertainty, if no notice is received before the final lesson of the Summer Term, the student will be allowed to continue attending classes for the entire academic year and will be automatically re-enrolled for the following academic year, subject to the conditions of the new academic year.

3. Privacy and confidentiality
We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting your personal information. Our Privacy Terms and Conditions include how we collect, use, disclose, and manage the information you provide to us. This is all explained in our Privacy Notice, which is outlined on our website.

4. Internet security
The Forerunners Education ensures proper use of homeschool facilities. Students are responsible for using our website, social community site, and email appropriately. Misuse violates rules and leads to consequences. By enrolling in our homeschool, parents permit monitoring of student mail services.
Passwords will be used to safeguard student accounts, allowing communication only in approved settings, like classrooms and official platforms. We verify student identities before accepting interactions with the school or access to lessons.

5. Learning environment
Parents MUST ensure that children are provided with a suitable and productive place where they can study comfortably without disruptions.
We ask that parents minimise the distractions surrounding their children during online sessions and create a focused learning environment. You must remind them to avoid multitasking and to give their full attention to the learning material.
Section 6
6. Login credentials
Lesson links, students' usernames, and passwords are strictly for the use of our enrolled students only and are not to be used or passed to anyone else to maintain the safety and security of all our students. Sharing lesson links, resources, or log-in details is strictly prohibited. Anyone who is discovered to be sharing login credentials will face serious consequences for the breach of our Terms and Conditions and endangering the security of fellow students, which may include exclusion.
Section 7
7. Discipline
The director of The Forerunners Education ensures the safety, well-being, and academic progress of each student. They also hold the authority to enforce discipline among students and staff. Parents and learners must wholeheartedly acknowledge the Head Teacher's authority.
For severe disciplinary matters, the director can suspend or expel a student. Parents grant this authority for necessary actions. Immediate communication and explanation of circumstances leading to suspension are provided in such cases.

8. Contract
By enrolling in The Forerunners Education, you confirm that you have read and agree to follow the homeschool’s Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you thoroughly review and understand all sections of this agreement, with particular attention to the fees and the notice period.
