How we look after your information

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry, book a conversation or enrol your child, and we do not sell or share it for advertising. This page explains what we hold and why.

Who we are

The Forerunners Education

The Forerunners Education is an online homeschool based in the United Kingdom, teaching students from Year 6 to A Level. We are the data controller for the information you give us through this website.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us

Enquiry and consultation forms

Your name, email, phone number, your child's year group and your message

Used to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to arrange a consultation. Sent to our admissions team by email and stored in our contact system (HubSpot, hosted in the EU) so we can follow up.

Prospectus request

Your first name and email address

Used to send you the prospectus, and to let you know about open days. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.

Booking a consultation

The details you enter in the booking calendar

Our booking calendar is provided by HubSpot. When you book a time, HubSpot processes your details on our behalf and may set its own cookies on that page. HubSpot's privacy notice applies to that step.

Enrolment

Your family's registration details

Enrolment happens on our school platform at forerunners.liveclass.school, which has its own privacy notice covering pupil and family records, attendance and fees.

Cookies and analytics

No advertising or tracking cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The only cookies set by the site itself are used to keep our own staff signed in to the website's editing area.

The consultation booking page loads HubSpot's scheduling calendar, which may set HubSpot cookies. No other page loads anything from HubSpot.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

Stored in the UK and EU, kept only as long as needed

Website hosting: Germany (EU); The website runs on a server in Germany. Like every website, it keeps short-lived technical logs that include your IP address, used only to keep the site secure.
Enquiries: Until resolved; We keep enquiry records while we are in contact with you and delete them when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.
Prospectus list: Until you unsubscribe; Unsubscribe from any email, or write to us, and we will remove you.

Your rights

You are in control of your information

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email contact@theforerunnerseducation.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this notice if what we collect changes. This version was published in September 2026.
