Enrolling on a rolling basis

Before you begin
How it works
Four steps, and then your child is enrolled. We will tell you where you are at every stage.
Step 1 of 4
Click “Enrol now” to reach the online application form. Fill it out, making sure your child's details are completely and accurately filled out. Once we receive your application we will review it, and the outcome will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
Step 2 of 4
Upon submitting your application, you will be prompted to pay the admissions fee: £220 for full-time homeschooling or a core subject pathway, or £50 for a standalone subject. This is a one-off, non-refundable fee.
Step 3 of 4
Every child enrolling with us will be required to sit an exam. This will not impact the outcome of your application; it will help us understand areas of weakness that our specialist teachers will be made aware of once classes are assigned, so that they work on any challenging areas with your child. We believe every child has potential, and we want to help your child reach theirs from the first stages of receiving them into our community.
Step 4 of 4
Whilst our core subjects are compulsory, children can choose to take additional subjects if they wish to, and you will be prompted to choose during the application process. A personalised timetable is then created based on your child's chosen subjects, and emailed to you along with further detail on key dates, and an invoice for your tuition fee.
The outcome
Once steps 1 to 4 have been completed, you will have officially succeeded in enrolling your child. You will receive further information on how to prepare your child to start their learning journey with us, and how you as a parent can get involved in this journey.

Before the start of term, we will also send you login details to access our learning platform, which will be used for the duration of the academic year.
Two weeks before
You will be invited to attend a welcome and information session, which will give you further insight on learning at The Forerunners Education, and an opportunity to ask any questions and clear any concerns you may have before the start of term.

The Forerunners Scholarship opens the door each year to a full place at the school for a family who could not otherwise afford it.

Every child sits one, but it does not affect the outcome of your application. It shows our teachers where your child needs help first.
Yes. We enrol on a rolling basis, so there is no single deadline to miss and no waiting for September.
One full scholarship each year, for a student entering Year 7 whose family could not otherwise afford private homeschooling. Applications open on 1 June and close on 1 July, and it is open to families anywhere in the world.
