Vision and Mission
The Forerunners Scholarship was born out of a deep understanding of the challenges many Muslim families face when trying to give their children an education that honours both their faith and their future.
Our founder, as a sibling of a migrant family, an educator, and advocate for equitable education has experienced first-hand how the mainstream system fails to nurture the potential of children who were quiet, underrepresented, or simply different. Despite years of advocacy and leadership in education reform, she realised real change would never come from within a system that wasn’t built for us.
The Forerunners Education was created as a bold alternative. An alternative rooted in Islam with all its values. The Forerunners Scholarship reflects this mission: to open the door for students each year to access a transformational education without the weight of financial barriers. It’s not just about affordability, it’s about unlocking excellence, nurturing adab, and raising young leaders who will give back to their communities with ihsan.
